@tunjitweet, a young man, recounted how a woman gave him a bill for N37k after he volunteered to pay for her lunch.
After trying to make a nice gesture to the lady, he became vehemently upset with her feeling of entitlement.
He disclosed that the woman ordered an enormous amount of food—N37,000 worth—that she was unable to consume.
He tweeted:
“Someone asked me for lunch this noon, I said choose your
meal and send the bill. she went to just jollof page to pick 5L rice of
35k and delivery 2k and sent me 37k bill.
‘why are buying 5litres cooler of rice?’. her response was
‘if you can’t afford it, just say so’. Even if gluttony is following you
from family house, is that why you want to eat 5 liters of rice on
someone else’s bill?”
Reacting to this, @jesuisdfk wrote:
“Haba…be nice naw. You for just reply…” Oh , that’s
thoughtful of you, I and my guys will come over for dinner. Should i get
the drinks or that will be your support”? As she dey say no or what do
you mean…you tell her to handle the bills for her friends then.”

“Asides it being in someone else’s bill, she tagged it lunch
so she should have ordered something she can finish at a sitting or is
it party reception she needs it for?”
