In her case against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and L.A. County Fire Department, Vanessa Bryant was given a $16 million verdict by a jury.


Remember that she filed a lawsuit against the department after it published horrific images from the scene of the terrible helicopter crash in January 2020 that claimed the lives of her husband Kobe Bryant, their daughter Gianna, 13, and six other people.


Bryant claimed in her lawsuit that she "suffers and will continue to suffer severe emotional distress" as a result of the pictures that were removed from the website and that she always worries about them being made public in the future.


She accused the L.A. County officials of negligence, privacy invasion, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit she filed in September 2020. 

 According to testimony given in court, the pictures were circulated among at least 28 devices used by L.A. County Sheriff's Department personnel.


Now, she has won after a jury's decision.


According to TMZ, Chris Chester, who lost his wife Sarah and daughter Payton, 13, in the tragedy, received a $15 million award while Bryant received $16 million.
