Egbi claims that he lives in Christ and believes in him.
This was declared by the second-place finisher of BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes in the early hours of today, August 25, on his Twitter account.
Despite the success he has attained over the years, Pere Egbi stated in a social media post that he still values God as the most significant aspect of his life.
The reality star and Nollywood actor said that despite his career as an entertainer, his followers should never assume he has no relationship with Christ.
Taking to Twitter, the reality star wrote,
“I may be in the entertainment industry and an actor but you dare not think for a second that I don’t fear Christ. In Him I live, move and have my being.”
Pere Egbi participated in the 2020 Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes edition where he finished as the second runner-up. He was initially disclosed as the ‘wild card’ in that edition, however, he was able to participate until the end because the other contestants were unable to discover who he was.
Pere was a ‘wild card’ alongside Maria Benjamin.
Despite appearing in series such as Super Story in the early 2000s, Egbi did not gain mainstream attention until his participation in the most watched reality show.
He has since appeared on the fan favourite show, The Men’s Club (TMC).
