Assist Oshoala of the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Sadio Mane of Senegal have both kept their CAF Player of the Year titles.

At the ceremony held on Thursday in Rabat, Morocco, both players were awarded 2022 CAF Player of the Year in the men's and women's divisions.

Mane defeated former Liverpool colleague Mohamed Salah and fellow countryman Edourd Mendy to win the accolade for the second time after winning it the first time in 2019 when it was last given out.

Oshoala, who also won it in 2019, has now surpassed former Falcons striker Perpetual Nkwocha with her fifth championship.

Ajara Nchout Njoya of Cameroon and Inter Milan, as well as Zambia's Grace Chanda, a player for BIIK Kazygurt, finished behind the Barcelona star.
The women's National Team of the Year will be revealed on July 23, 2022, during the Women's AFCON championship game.
