Season two is expected to be based on the follow-up book 'The Smart Money Tribe: An African Woman's Guide to Making Bank.

Season 2 of The Smart Money Woman has officially started filming.

Osas Ighodaro, Ebenzezer Eno, Lala Akindoju, Timini Egbuson, Seun Ajayi, and Eso Dike, among others, will return to the show as former cast members of the production start second series, according to Pulse.ng.

Actors Tobi Bakre and Eku Edewor will join the show's veteran cast as fresh recruits.
Bakre will portray a new character by the name of Dimeji, while Edewor will reprise his role as the cunning Lagos socialite Banke.

The Smart Money Tribe, the follow-up to Arese Ugwu's best-selling novel The Smart Woman, is thought to be the inspiration for the major plot of the second series, despite the fact that it has not yet been revealed.
