#jaiyeorie Nollywood actor Chidi Mokeme lauded Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) for providing Nigerians with a welcome diversion from their misery.

On Tuesday, the seasoned director cautioned Nigerians on Twitter to avoid becoming so preoccupied that they would ignore the important concerns.

He warned them that the government would likely ban BBN and take away their social media rights if they did not cast their ballots.

"BBN is a good distraction from the suffering. But don’t get so distracted that you turn your back on the the real issues.

If you don’t VOTE RIGHT, they plan to take away your social media RIGHTS, and even ban your BBN.
