Tolu Oniru-Demuren, better known by her stage name Toolz, is a renowned radio host and personality from Nigeria. She has stated that she dislikes the term "strong" when used to characterize women.

The lovely mother of two complained on her Instagram story that she dislikes how often a woman's capacity for suffering and heartbreak is used as a measure of her strength.

She loves to be referred to be a gentle woman because she rejects the notion that life should be difficult, said the well-known talk show host.

The 39-year-old OAP wrote,

“Softness for life. One of these days, I will explain why I don’t always like the term ‘strong woman’. For me quite often it basically means how much burden, heartbreak, devastation a woman can carry and just keep going.”

Recent mothers' practices of bleaching their kids' skin to make it fairer prompted a response from Toolz.

This comes after a Twitter user stated that a newborn had purportedly been identified as having chronic renal disease as a result of her mother bleaching her skin.

The mother allegedly decided to bleach her child's skin because she has a darker complexion than her siblings, according to the tweep.

Reacting, Toolz wrote,

“Some people are actually mad because what is this mess???. Reminds me of when someone asked if I was going to bleach my darker son so his skin ‘matches’ my fairer son. I legit couldn’t speak for a few minutes. #skinbleaching.”
