   Following other significant local blockbusters like "Squid Game" and "Bridgerton," "Young, Famous & African" is the newest viral sensation to hit Netflix. 

 Peace Hyde, an African media maven who also serves as the head of digital media and partnership and the West African reporter for Forbes Africa, designed and executive produced the first of its type reality TV series set in Africa.

 

 The show, which follows the lives and relationships of some of Africa's biggest superstars, premiered on Netflix to a global audience of over 220 million people and quickly rose to the top 5 list in only five days, establishing a cult-like following across Africa and the diaspora. Peace Hyde talks to the BBC in an exclusive interview.
