Simone Johnson has the perfect retort for those who are offended by her WWE moniker.

On Sunday, the 20-year-old announced her wrestling name on Twitter, stating that she will go by the moniker "Ava Raine."

While many people wished her well, some were critical of her moniker, believing she should have chosen a name that paid homage to her father.
One troll suggested she should have gone with "The Pebble," for example.

She also slammed them.

“I probably sound like a broken record & hopefully this is the last i’ll mention this but i don’t understand why people being portrayed as separate individuals from their family name is such a heated topic,” she wrote. “A name doesn’t discredit any prior accomplishments from any family.”

In another tweet, she let them know that even if she did “build my entire career around my father,” people would still find a reason to “bash her anyway.”
