Following a sold-out Madison Square Garden concert, Burna Boy writes a heartfelt thank you note to New York City.

Following the triumph of his sold-out concert, One Night in Space at Madison Square Garden, New York, Burna Boy took to social media to praise New York City for being so gracious to him.


The Grammy winner, who has been praised on Twitter for going above and above during his performance, composed a note that he shared on his Instagram stories.

Burna Boy who performed to a sold out audience on Thursday, a first for an African artiste, started off with writing; “The Journey in NY has been a blessing. PlayStation theatre in 2017, Gramercy theatre in 2018, The Apollo in 2019 and Today 2022 we are in MADISON SQUARE GARDEN. Thank you NEW YORK for sticking with me all these years through this great Journey. Love, Damini.”
