Femi Adebayo Salami, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, Adedimeji Lateef, Aisha Lawal, Mr Macaroni, and Broda Shaggi feature in the epic drama, which was co-directed by Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo Salami. The old-fashioned style of going simple has been abandoned by Nollywood movie premieres, and this was not the case during the premiere of Femi Adebayo's King of Thieves.
On Sunday, April 4, the event took place at the famed IMAX theatres in Lagos, and naïve visitors may have mistook the site for an epic battle.


The invited guests and cast members all dressed up in classic warrior costumes to fit the mood of the evening.

Adebayo, the man of the moment, wore a traditional battle commander outfit created by famous stylist Toyin Lawani.


The narrative of the film is unknown, except that it would follow the story of Odu Ogunda Ogbe, also known as Ogundabede, a Yoruba mythological character.


Remember that principal photography began in June 2021, with co-executive producer Femi Adebayo revealing behind-the-scenes footage from the production at the time.


'King of Thieves' is the first in a series of high-budget Yoruba epics set to be released as part of a new studio cooperation between Niyi Akinmolayan's Anthill Studios and Adebayo's Euphoria 360.
The much-anticipated Yoruba epic play "King of Thieves (Ogundabede)" premiered on Sunday, April 4th, and it was a star-studded affair, with celebrities dressed in grandiose and dangerous costumes.
