Bolanle Olukanni remembers Karibi Fubara

   Bolanle Olukanni has remembered late "Before 30" actor Karibi Fubara, recalling the actor’s strength during his battle with kidney cancer.

Karibi had revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with a large mid-stage kidney tumour and underwent surgery on May 3 that year, describing it as a successful procedure that removed about 90% of the tumour.

He died in December 2021, about 19 months after the surgery. His family announced his passing on December 15, 2021, with tributes pouring in from colleagues and friends across the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Now, Bolanle’s recollection brings Karibi back into focus—not simply through the circumstances of his death, but through the memory of the person and the fight he put up before his final days.
