For our January/February 2022 issue, we are more than excited to share more of the melodic love that Olubankole Wellington @bankywellington & Adesua Etomi-Wellington @adesuaetomi have.
The acting/singing and all-round entertaining couple stunned on the cover of their first magazine shoot together with Adesua donning a bright red, Mazi spaghetti dress and her hair pulled back in a fierce ponytail.
Banky was decked in a multi-coloured traditional buba and trousers for the shoot as the couple spoke on their melodic love story. The shoot was styled by Dahmola of DOA, photography by Aham Ibeleme and makeup by T Alamode Beauty.
Speaking on the decision to go with the stars for their new issue, the team at Today’s Woman Magazine said,
“When we decided to do this cover, our minds were heavily on family, love and how similar they are with music and dance. The Melodies of getting married and settling into a new home, the Forte of having children, and the Crescendo of becoming one in a family of many. And embodying this dance are many couples we know and love just like the Wellingtons.
“For their first cover as man & wife, we sat down for a real status update. Banky & Adesua graciously allowed us into their space sharing what life has been like for them through the lens of love, family loss, music and future. And at the end of our session with them, we agree with Adesua when she says – “Love is the foundation and motivation”.
