A quick check on the Nollywood actor’s Instagram page shows that the he has 2.4 million followers on the gram but follows noone.Jim Iyke, in the recent interview, described the popular social media app as a ‘pseudo’ reality and people should treat it as such.

“From day one I got on social media, I didn’t want to follow anybody. I wanted to establish the fact that this is a market place. It’s a pseudo reality there. It’s not what people want to take as their everyday life.
If you see any of my posts, it’s tailored. I don’t post about my family. I don’t post my pleasures. There are certain things I think should be left for one to experience alone.
There are three tiers of life that I live. I live the private life, the public life, and the secret life.

Let me start with what has sustained my marriage, as most people probably didn’t expect me to be this happily married. It is
God but it is also very important for me when I say that I’m so happy that I got married when I got married. When I decided to quit the bachelor’s life, I thought at that stage in my life I needed to grow an empire, and the best way to do that was to have a best friend as partner, and then you have to be true to yourself. So, I believe all these put together, I pray to God believing in what the Bible says that ‘he who findeth a wife finds a good thing’.
So, I got myself my best friend, my best partner who understands everything about me, and we have been growing together. Oh yes, once in a while, I do miss all those good old bachelor’s days.
But I’m also so happy that there is a difference between Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo and D’banj Kokomaster. Of course, I still get those kokolets rushing to me on stage but I always tell myself that ‘hey, you’re committed to someone’ and that’s what life is.

The designer sent a cease and desist letter to the UK retailer who ripped off her designers, and when they didn’t pull down the outfits, she took legal steps.
In July last year, Fendi teased their Fendi Resort 2022 (July 2021), and it wasn’t long before folks noticed the shocking similarities between the design and Fisayo Longe’s new robe, the “Kai Collective Orange Gaia” that was scheduled to be released this August. And Longe called them out.
Now, the BooHoo case has ended in success.

Kim Kardashian is well on her way to becoming a multi-billionaire as her shapewear and loungewear brand has doubled in value.
The fashion brand which was worth $1.6 billion just nine months ago is now valued at $3.2 billion following an increased demand for its products during the pandemic.
According to Bloomberg, a new round of funding from a hedge fund and investment firm doubled the valuation of the business to $3.2 billion (£2.4 billion) – a rise from $1.6 billion (£897 million) in April 2021.
Skims, which is headed up by Kardashian and CEO Jens Grede, has acquired $240 million (£180 million) financing from Connecticut-based hedge fund Lone Pine Capital, New York firm D1 Capital Partners and other previously existing partners.
“This latest round will allow us to focus on bringing more innovations and solutions to our customers and become even more of a trusted resource for them,” Kardashian told Bloomberg in an email.
Kim Kardashian remains the largest individual shareholder of the brand, with her and Grede retaining their controlling stakes.

The New York Post reports that she jumped from the 60-story Orion building around 7:15 a.m. She reportedly lived on the ninth floor, but was last seen on a 29th-floor terrace.
“In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie,” her family said in a statement. “Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.”
“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on Extra,” the statement continued. “But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague – we know her impact will live on.”
Complex adds this about her: “After graduating from South Carolina University with a degree in marketing and human resource management, Kryst went to Wake Forest University School of Law where she received an MBA and Juris Doctor. Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, aka Do2tun,
has been announced as the host of Glo Battle of the Year Nigeria, the
world’s biggest dance competition packaged by national
telecommunications company.
He
is expected to coordinate activities during the second and third stage
of the show including battle rounds and quarter finals, as well as
semi-finals and finals performance shows which will be transmitted live.
The first stage of the show, regional auditions was recently concluded

They named their son Dakota, after

Over 25,000 people have signed a petition on change.org to stop
foreign institutions from demanding an English proficiency test, the
International English Language Testing System, from Nigerians.
The petition, which was initiated by a youth-led open-source platform
for policy ideas that address the world’s most pressing challenges
called Policy Shapers, was addressed to the Home Secretary of the United
Kingdom, Priti Patel.
According to the think tank, no country in Africa, out of the 27 who
list English as one of their official languages is on the Home Office
list of countries exempted from taking the test.
Meanwhile, the UK Home Office has exempted Antigua and Barbuda, the
Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis,
Trinidad and Tobago, and ten other countries from those who would
require the test.
Many
foreign universities, who are either in English speaking countries or
have courses taught in the language, demand the IELTS as a requirement
for admitting international students.
However, Policy Shapers argue that a test that costs more than three
times the minimum wage and the result expires in two years, should not
be required of Nigerians since the country is predominantly English
speaking.
Speaking with The PUNCH, Founder of Policy Shapers, Ebenezar Wikina,
stated that the campaign became necessary after observing that many
Nigerians had lost opportunities because they could not afford the cost
of the test despite having tertiary education in the English language.
He
added, “While advocating for this as a team, we found that there were
many more young Africans who felt strongly about the issue, so we set up
a task force with over 70 volunteers and we have all been working to
push the movement together. Everything came together organically. At the
moment, our petition has over 25,000 signatures with more than 2,000
comments in support of this advocacy movement.”

A statue of Kobe Bryant and his daughter
, Gigi has been placed on the site of the helicopter crash that claimed
their lives and those of others.
The sculpture was placed at the site in Calabasas, California in
Wednesday, January 26, which marked the second anniversary of their
tragic deaths and seven others.
The statue was created by sculptor Dan Medina and showed Kobe, in his
Lakers uniform and with his arm around Gianna, who is also wearing a
uniform while holding a basketball by her side.
Sammie Shina Peters, the wife of Shina Peters has
said that the rate at which marriages are breaking is alarming.
Mrs Peters said this in an Instagram post in the early hours of
Thursday. She also prayed for protection against the children of
‘Lucifer’.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu flagged off the
construction of Ojota-Opebi link bridges, a carriageway that will solve
major traffic conflicts in Ikeja.
The 3.89 kilometre-long road infrastructure will open into Ojota axis
in Kosofe, taking traffic from Opebi U-Turn and dropping it at Ikorodu
Road via intersection that will be constructed under Odo Iya Alaro
Bridge at Mende.
The
road will be supported by 276 metre-long deck-on-pile bridge and 474
metre-long mechanically stabilised earth-wall approach sections.
The carriageway, which is a new connectivity, would create an easy
exit for commuters leaving Ikeja-Onigbongbo axis towards Ojota and
Maryland.

In the caption, Ojo detailed how she started her journey as a single mum without direction and with confusion.
