Funke Akindele Bello has added yet another feather to her cap with her film, Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
The actress and filmmaker announced that the movie which is currently streaming on Netflix has been crowned Africa’s highest-grossing film of 2020/21, at the just concluded META Cinema Conference, in Dubai, UAE.
Funke Akindele reposted the news which was originally put up on Film One’s official Instagram handle.
“We are super excited about the latest accolade won by Omo Ghetto: The Saga, as Africa’s highest-grossing film of 2020/21, at the just concluded META Cinema Conference, in Dubai, UAE.
“The award is sponsored by COMSCORE, an international box office data collation company, and official data partners of the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).
