Yemi Alade is currently on tour in Europe and linked up with Ed Sheeran while in London for the 2021 edition of the London Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony over the weekend.
They had a swell time posing for pictures a d goofing around and the conversation geared towards the debate between Nigerian and Ghanaian Jollof Rice.
Ed Sheeran confessed to being #TeamGhanaianJollof seeing as he has been to Ghana and tasted the delicacy for himself. He however admitted that he has never been to Nigeria and hasn’t tasted Nigerian Jollof Rice so there was room for his stance to be changed.
Yemi Alade made a great case for Nigerian Jollof though and we know that Ed Sheeran must have left pretty convinced that our Jollof is indeed better than our neighbour’s.
