Despite military/police presence at the Lekki Toll Gate on Wednesday, October 20, Nigerians have refused to be intimidated and carried on with commemorating the 2021 #EndSARS protests which ended in the acclaimed #LekkiMassacre.
Photos from the scene of the memorial show youths out in their numbers, many remaining in their cars as they waved the Nigerian flag and drove slowly on that route.
Noticeably present at the memorial is Falz alongside others who have refused to forget the horrific events of this day, one year ago despite best attempts by other parties to suppress the voice of the youths.
