The first trailer for The Matrix: Resurrections recently dropped, and now actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II sent fans into a frenzy with one simple post: he hints that he also stars in the movie.
The project is directed by Lana Wachowski and the trailer sees the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, but also the introduction of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s character. It is unclear what role he plays; no matter what, fans are super excited.
“MORPHEUS,” he wrote on his Instagram alongside the image.
We can’t wait!
