RMD wins ‘Man of the Year’ Award

 RMD, has expressed excitement after bagging the ‘Man of the Year’ award courtesy of a popular Radio station.

Disclosing this on his Instagram page, RMD said he had never looked forward to an award, hence he was pretty happy when he got notice of ‘Man of the Year Award.

RMD advised his fans and followers to always put more pressure on their works, notwithstanding anybody with God is a majority.

He wrote: Never one to look forward to anything like an award, so I was quite chuffed when I got the notice of MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD from @classicfm973 happening today in abuja folks.

Kemi Filani News recalls that Richard Mofe Damijo, sparked reactions on social media after revealing he has never kissed his colleague, Sola Sobowale, despite starring in movies as married couples for 37 years together.

In a video shared by Sobowale on her Instagram page, RMD said it is surprising that they have never locked lips in front of a camera despite all these years.


 

Still holding on to the dream of kissing his colleague, RMD stated that he hopes to still be relevant in the movie industry in the next ten years, and, by that time, he ought to have kissed Sobowale on a movie set.

Richard Mofe Damijo, who has been on the movie scene for decades and often plays intimate roles in several films, lock lips with some ladies. Hence many movie lovers believed the veteran actor had kissed almost all the females in the Nollywood industry.


 
Reacting to the video, some social media users averred that Sola Sobowale does not feature in romantic movies, describing her as an iron lady.

On the other hand, some pointed out that movies that RMD and Sola Sobowale feature are continuously marred with issues in their marriage, a reference to ‘Gold Statue’.
