The Twitter influencer shares an encounter with Tems from back in the day, revealing that she reached out to him to help promote her music.
Chidi noted that he liked her sound and passed it along to a friend who owned an Indie record label hoping Tems would be signed on.
The friend however passed up on Tems as she sounded too RnB which is a tough sell in Nigeria and Africa at large.
However, in the last year, that same sound has taken Tems to the pinnacle of success on her music career with a collaboration with Wizkid that has charted on Billboard and rolling with the likes of Rihanna and Drake.
