Selena Gomez has called out a TV show had made unkind jokes about the kidney transplant she underwent in 2017 to help with her lupus.
Per Hollywood Reporter, the joke about her health was made in the latest episode of the Paramount+ show The Good Fight, and reacting to the news, Selena took to her Twitter to call out the producers.
“I am not sure how writing jokes about organ transplants for television shows has become a thing but sadly it has apparently,” Gomez tweeted Tuesday night. “I hope in the next writer’s room when one of these tasteless jokes are presented it’s called out immediately and doesn’t make it on air.”
She also included a link for people to use if they want to sign up to become an organ donor.
