A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, turned 60 on July 31 and his family organised a birthday party to celebrate him.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, was surrounded by his wives, children, in-laws, grandchildren, and loved ones as he celebrated the day.
Though banished from Kano after being deposed as emir by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Sanusi has since returned to prominence by being named an advisor to the Kaduna State government.
The renowned economist was also installed as the head of Tijjaniyah movement, an Islamic society in Nigeria.
