Super Eagles star,Samuel Kalu, collapsed on the field during a football match between his club, Bordeaux and Marseille in a Ligue 1 match on Sunday. Kalu, 23, was preparing to form a defensive wall with a free kick when he collapsed on the lawn in the heat of 25 degrees in Marseille. After being assisted by medical staff, he regained consciousness and was allowed to play for another 8 minutes before being replaced. Concerned teammates formed a human shield around them, similar to what was seen when Christian Eriksen suffered a heart attack during Euro 2020. The cause of this incident is not known yet, but it is not the first time that Kalu has collapsed. On the eve of the opening of Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt in 2019, he collapsed during training due to, as it was said, "severe dehydration".“feel free to disagree in the comments and let me know what you think!” 📎 COMMENTS 👀 ☝️👆👈👉✍️🤳 DROP YOUR OPINIONS
