Denola Grey has joined the host of Nigerians tweet their support for Fisayo Longe.
Fendi teased their Fendi Resort 2022 (July 2021) and fans noticed the shocking similarities between the design and Fisayo Longe’s new robe, the “Kai Collective Orange Gaia” that was scheduled to be released this August. They dragged Fendi online, and Longe soon released a statement, letting the Italian designer know that her own designs are protected in the United Kingdom and also in the United States.
She said, “Kai Collective Orange Gaia (June 2020) and Fendi Resort 2022 (July 2021). Black women continue to be the blueprint. I see you, Kim Jones. You might not want to release these items in the UK and US because the print is protected and you will be receiving a cease & desist for sure.”
You can read about it here.
Tweeting his support for her, Grey praised Longe and dragged the Italian designer: “Not Fis carrying the entire fashion industry on her back because wtaf Fendi?”
He said a lot more.
