Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat to Go Head-to-head in Verzuz Battle at Essence Fest

 Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat are slated for the next edition of a Verzuz battle and it’s going down hard.

The R&B singers who have expansive music catalogs each will go hit-for-hot at each other during the 2021 Essence Festival.

The battle will be taking place on Thursday, July 1, during Essence’s virtual festival experience as they prepare for the second weekend of their annual festival.

Verzuz shared the news on its official Instagram page.

Both Bobby and Keith Sweat have dominated the R&B scene for decades. Bobby of course is one of the original members of New Edition and he has also had a successful solo career as well.
