Wizkid, is set to drop his fifth studio album!
The award-wining singer/songwriter, who is still basking in the heady heights of the success of his acclaimed ‘Made In Lagos’ (MIL) album, dropped a teaser for his fans on Tuesday.
Wizkid took to his Insta Story to share an animation of himself looking at a gallery that has the collection of his four albums while his gaze was fixated on a fifth blank plate that has a question mark ‘?’. Not too subtle, heh?
While he did not drop a name or date for the album, there can be little doubt that the Lagos-born artiste is either contemplating or working on his fifth studio album.
The 30-year-old singer’s MIL album, which was released by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records on October 30, 2020, was a smash hit with monster collaborations with the likes of Grammy-Award winner, Burna Boy, Damian Marley, Her and Ella Mai.
Fondly called Starboy, Wizkid’s previous albums are his smashing debut, ‘Superstar’, his equally successful sophomore, ‘Ayo’ and the cross-continent work ‘Sounds from the Other Side’ (abbreviated as SFTOS).
