Chris Hemsworth has aired his thoughts on a viral photo involving his Hugo Boss billboard in Milan.
The Thor star, 37, shared the photo of Italian football fans celebrating in the streets near a huge billboard featuring his face next to the brand’s logo.
He captioned the Instagram post: “My sincere thanks to all the passionate Inter Milan fans who turned up to cheer for my Hugo Boss billboard reveal,” he captioned the image.
The image depicted Inter Milan fans celebrating after winning their first Serie A title since 2010. The placement of the billboard was a coincidence.
The Marvel Universe star continued: “I thought that they were celebrating their [team’s] recent victory but those closest to me whom I trust tell me they were there to applaud my choice of going with ‘lazy gaze blue steel’ pose.”
One fan tweeted earlier in the week that the photo showed ‘scenes in Milan as Inter win their first league title in a decade, and celebrate by praying to their god Chris Hemsworth.’
