Denrele Edun took a journey back in time to some 20 years ago.
Counting down to his 40th birthday in a few weeks, the tv personality shared a throwback photo of his 20th birthday and the incident that marked that event.
Denrele revealed that while living in the family house at that time, his female cousins, all five of them would normally verbally assault his Indian mother, physically and verbally assault him and his sister.
His birthday in 1991 fell on the last Saturday; environmental sanitation day and he had the job of cleaning the gutter being the only make child in the house.
While about his duties, he heard his cousins begin their rain of verbal assault on his mother, screaming at the tip of their lungs, proceeded to hit his kid sister and then turn to him.
They begin to verbally abuse him before deciding that was not enough and rained down blows on him on his birthday.
