Vanessa Bryant has reacted to news that she, through the Kobe Bryant estate, has ended her late husband’s partnership with Nike.
The widow to the basketball legend took to social media to deny the claim, stating that though Kobe’s contract with Nike expired on April 13, 2021, she was hoping to forge a lifelong partnership with the company to reflect her husband’s legacy.
Vanessa pointed out the viability of Nike’s business with Kobe Bryant as his shoes sell out in seconds and promised to continue to do everything to honour her late husband and daughter.
