Popular Nigerian dancer and Guinness world record holder, Kaffy Shafau-Ameh, has taken to Instagram to document her thoughts about how she sees Nigerian churches and just how much the Christian religious institution has failed Nigerians.
The dance queen in her video questioned the reasons behind starting a church in Nigeria. She said in her post that it is true that the country doesn’t provide that enabling environment which is the reason why a lot of people run to churches. But what do these churches really do give back in return rather than even take from the little their congregation have.
The dancer further said in her video that churches invest more in church buildings, rather than their congregations.
“We should also invest in the natural state of our being as much as we invest in the spiritual” Kaffy said.
