Nigerian lawyer Modupe Odele aka Moe or Mochievous,
her Twitter handle username, has come out to slam people criticising and
warning ladies who jumped on the #SilhouetteChallenge of ‘their
future’.
Recall that the dancing naked under red filter challenge has met many criticisms, one of which is from Nollywood actor Uba Michael Ogbolor who said tomorrow is very big and ladies need to be wise today so their past does not screw up their future.
Countering their thoughts, advises and opinions on the #SilhouetteChallenge, Moe said they are all missing out the entire point of people posting doing whatever with their bodies. According to her, the woman’s body is overregulated and at such, people think their opinions on what a lady should do with her body should matter.
“People warning women about the “future consequences” of posting videos of her body on the internet are missing the entire point. The body of a woman is over-regulated. And that’s the same reason you think your opinion on what she does with her body should matter”, she wrote.Photos Credit: Getty
