Megan Thee Stallion shared a letter she received from California Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Congresswoman Waters congratulated Megan on her success and thanked her for uplifting black women in the op-ed she wrote for The New York Times.
Mrs. Waters took the time to recognize Megan for her opus and let her know that she was proud of her and that her back was back. Megan referred to Mrs. Waters in a text she wrote as a legend, and put Mrs. Waters in conversation with Shirley Chisholm, Loretta Lynch, and Carol Moseley. One of the highlights of my year was getting a letter from Congress Woman @repmaxinewaters I am so honored to be recognized by such an amazing woman and I promise to keep using my voice and encourage others to use theirs !
