Fred Hammond took to social media over the weekend and revealed he has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the gospel icon shared:
I did a post on my little short stories thing saying…Monday…that I went to go get tested. It was a same-day test and I never got back and a lot of people were, ‘What you doing? What’s wrong? What’s going on?’ And I didn’t say anything, but I just wanted to come on and say that this is day 5 of my quarantine because the test came back Monday positive for COVID.
Fred Hammond added he was wearing his mask, but like so many he got a little too relaxed with it.
He revealed some family members have also tested positive and one had to be rushed to the hospital.
The good news is he is maintaining and said he has 3 doctors on call if he has any questions and/or concerns.
