The Governor keeps coming up with several stories - Former Kogi governorship candidate, Natasha Akpoti speaks on Lekki Toll Gate shooting (video)

 Former Kogi governor candidate Natasha Akpoti has commented on the shooting at the Lekki tollbooth, which has sparked much controversy. Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Natasha stated that it is "very clear that there were thugs who were sponsored to disrupt the peaceful #EndSARS protest." He also claimed that there are several videos, including the Instalive video of DJ Switch, that counters the Governor's various stories of not having participated in the shooting at the Lekki tollbooth. Emphasizing the need for justice, the former gubernatorial candidate said it is necessary to know who gave the orders after the Nigerian army revealed that it had been invited by the Lagos state government to restore law and order. Also recounting her personal experience in the hands of SARS officers during her governorship and senatorial campaign, Natasha noted that safeguarding lives and property is the fourth duty of a police officer as stipulated in police law. He added that this is the reason why most Nigerian policemen are aggressive.
