For days, looters have been breaking into warehouses looking for "Covid-19 palliatives" to loot. The thugs have also been destroying public and private property in the name of looting.
After days of destruction, Governor Ben Ayade set out to address his people. He asked them to stop destroying public and private property. He added that he empathizes with them, understands the poverty on earth, and wishes he could turn them all into "billionaires."
After the video was released, Nigerians took to Twitter to comment on the number of security officers surrounding him as he delivered the speech. Some said he was "hiding" behind his security men.#jaiyeorie
