The Smart Money Woman series premiere black carpet was a star studded affair, the elegant evening hosted by internet sensation/ social media influencer Taymesan Emmanuel. It was attended by cast members, top entertainment industry mover and shakers: Tobi Osoba, Kanayo Ebi, Toke Makinwa,Nnenna Okoye and more.

The event, hosted by internet personality Taymesan Emmanuel, brought together cast members and entertainment-industry personalities including Kanayo Ebi, Nnenna Okoye and more.

Beyond the cameras and celebrity arrivals, the black carpet was doing what it does best: turning a premiere into a fashion conversation.

Some came polished, some dramatic, some understated—but nobody appeared to have mistaken the black carpet for a casual errand.

When the event is built around money, ambition and modern Nigerian womanhood, the fashion becomes part of the conversation too. The question isn't simply who wore what? It's what did each woman want her entrance to say?

Who do you think understood the black-carpet assignment?

Toni Tones, Nnenna Okoye, Toke Makinwa, Orezi, Osas Ighodaro, Ini Dima-Okojie, Mimi Onalaja, Lala Akindoju graced the exquisite black carpet in style.

The series is an adaptation of Arese Ugwu‘s best-selling book, “The Smart Money Woman” and follows the stories of the lead characters: Zuri, Ladun, Tami, Adesuwa and Lara.

The highly anticipated series will have 13 episodes.
