Marian Omatsone Hosts Mo Abudu, Helen Prest-Ajayi and More as Daughter Fiona Gets Married

Some weddings become memorable because of the bride and groom. Others are remembered for the remarkable circle of women who surround the family on the day—and Fiona Omatsone’s wedding had plenty of star power.

BFF Shoes boss Marian Omatsone welcomed some of her closest friends and prominent names from Lagos’ social and business circles as her daughter, Fiona, celebrated her wedding.

Among those who joined the celebration were media entrepreneur Mo Abudu, Helen Prest-Ajayi and other friends of the Omatsone family, turning the occasion into a beautiful gathering of familiar faces.

Adding another special layer to the celebration was the late Ibidun Ighodalo, who was behind the event planning. Known for creating meticulously produced celebrations through her events company, Elizabeth R, Ibidun brought her signature eye for detail to the occasion.

The bridal party also reflected Fiona’s fashionable social circle, with Idia Aisien and Tracy Nwapa serving as bridesmaids.

For Marian, the wedding was more than a glamorous social occasion—it was a proud mother’s moment, surrounded by women who had shared different chapters of her life and were now there to celebrate one of the biggest chapters in her daughter’s.

From the elegant bridal party to the distinguished guest list, Fiona’s wedding brought together fashion, friendship, business and Lagos social culture in one room.

And with Ibidun Ighodalo at the helm of the planning, the occasion carried the touch of a woman whose work made countless Nigerian celebrations feel extraordinary.

Would you want your closest girlfriends to be part of your daughter’s wedding day like this?
