MC Lyte and John Wyche are divorcing after 3 years of marriage.
The Hip Hop legend, real name Lana Michele Moorer, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Monday (August 17) citing irreconcilable differences.
Lyte and John, a Marine Corp veteran and entrepreneur, appeared to have a whirlwind romance! They met on Match.com and went public with their relationship in January of 2017. They were engaged by May.
She wrote on social media, “It’s been a long time, this single life, and I thank you all for your prayers and kind words of hope. God has sent me true love.”
And they were married by August! They tied the knot in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I’m really sad to hear their marriage didn’t work out. Source: People
