#jaiyeorie Actress Efia Odo says the system in Ghana is crazy and that it is too difficult to make money in the country.
Odo, in a couple of Twitter posts, said Ghanaian artists are generally broken and young people in the country have no future.
Odo complained that a fast food worker in the United States makes more money than most Ghanaian celebrities and that most celebrities in the country are famous for nothing while bankrupt.
“Somebody working in McDonalds in America makes more money than most of us celebs in Ghana. Ghana fame brings no money! All this fame and Artists are struggling. The people in position all need to be fired and new age minded people need to be hired. We need a reset button!” she said.
Odo added that the young people in the country even have it worse and there’s no way to make money without resorting to fraud.
“There’s no future for us, on God. How much do teachers, bankers, doctors make in Ghana?? It’s either you come from a good home or you’re doing fraud. Our structure in every aspect is horrible!” she added.
This state of affairs is what has forced many celebrities, especially the female ones, to open up a side business alongside their careers – selling their body for cash.
A fair number of them including Tracey Boakye and Moesha Boduong have openly admitted to this. Many of the others do it in secret but would deny it till their dying breath. 📎 The key is : Learn how to BE HAPPY BY YOURSELF FIRST. Because a human being that is happy on his/her own will never settle to be miserable with someone else. When you find happiness on your own then you will be able to spread it and share it with someone else. ... CRITIC ALSO 🖋️ spill TEA ☕ Easy on Shade 💣
