The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Adeboye has condemned the killing of Uwaila Omozuwa which occurred in a branch of his church in Benin, Edo State.
Uwaila Omozuwa was found in a critical condition inside the church where she went to read at night.
Her head was bleeding after it was bashed with a fire extinguisher by unknown men who also raped her.
She later gave up the ghost after she was rushed to a hospital for attention.
Pastor Adeboye who took to Twitter condemned the action and promised that he would work with authorities to ensure the culprits are brought to book.
He also revealed that he’s praying for the family of the deceased who was a 100 level microbiology student of the University of Benin in Edo State.
He tweeted: “All I can do at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book. I and members of my Family condemn this act strongly and urge everyone to stay calm as we are already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to establish the facts of the shocking incident. #justiceforuwa”. 📎 The key is : Learn how to BE HAPPY BY YOURSELF FIRST.
