Edo State born Modupe Ozolua was the first to openly admit to having had some work done on her body, her breasts particularly.

The 47-year-old, pioneered cosmetic surgery in Nigeria and, moreover, in West Africa by bringing doctors from America, where he was based, at least twice a year, as she came into the limelight in early 2000, performed surgeries and change the way women look.

The beneficiaries of these cuts were expected to make reservations about these services months before the doctors arrived. The surgeries were performed in very subtle places and the names of the clients were even more closely guarded, as the doctor/patience confidentially agreed.

Alongside the body enhancement services he offered, Modupe also ran a high-end spa where he offered exclusive rejuvenating and grooming services for men and women means. The Indulge spa worked 11 years before it was finally closed in 2014. There is no reason to close it except that the spa had completed its course.

Modupe continued offering body enhancement surgeries along the side offering corrective surgeries especially for children born with deformities. This special service he started in 2003. Doctors she flew to Nigeria for cosmetic surgery was also tasked with providing remedial surgeries as well. This he did through his BEAR Foundation, a charity hand in her business, Body Enhancement Ltd. She later changed the name of the foundation to the Body Enhancement Foundation, which focused mainly on medical tasks.

This continued up until 2014 when she finally shut down both the body enhancement surgery arm and the corrective surgery arm of her business, to focus solely on charity work via another foundation she birthed, Empower 54 solely dedicated to the plight of IDP/refugee programs and the underprivileged people.

Modupe Ozolua today says she has no regrets mingling with the down trodden as opposed to the jet set lifestyle she lived for 17 years, helping women remain regain their confidence via body enhancement procedures. To her, it was as if she was born to do charity work.
