“Ibidunni Ighodalo planned my wedding for free” – Tomike Adeoye reveals

Ibidunni Ighodalo who died just 2 days ago to the shock of many. Amongst the list of friends and acquaintances that she helped in her lifetime is Instagram brand influencer and TV presenter, Tomike Adeoye.


Tomike Adeoye, a 24 year old graduate of microbiology from the prestigious university of Lagos, firstly got in contact with the late ibidunni after ibidunni stumbled on a video of Tomike and her friends, where they were dancing to the then reigning “kupe challenge”.




Ibidunni, according to her, fell in love with her amongst the other girls that were in the video and decided to send her a DM. That began a 2 year relationship between ibidunni and Tomike that would last a lifetime for the 24 year old.

In her remembrance post that she uploaded on her Instagram stories, she revealed the several ways Ibidunni had helped her and also helped her husband, Tosin Adeoye. The most strucking was the fact that she planned her wedding all for free, the classic “Elizabeth R Wedding”, that became the talk of Instagram in 2019.



Anyone who knows the event brand, Elizabeth R, knows that to have a classic wedding done by the brand could break the bank, running into millions of naira. But due to her genuine heart and the love she had for Tomike, she did it all for free without accepting a dime. Not only did she plan her wedding for free, she also gave her a free wedding dress from Elizabeth R Couture that is most probably worth millions.


Not forgetting the gifts she still showered the young lady. Anyone can say that, “oh, she was able to do so because she was wealthy”. But we all know so many wealthy people who would never think for a second to help anyone.
