Jimmy Fallon Issues An Apology After Video Of Him Impersonating Chris Rock In Blackface Resurfaces

Jimmy Fallon has issued an apology after Twitter pulled his Carfax Report and reminded everyone he wore blackface in 2000 while doing an impression of Chris Rock on “Saturday Night Live.”

The hashtag #JimmyFallonIsOverParty was born, but not everyone was willing to party on the dancefloor.

Jimmy took full responsibility for his 20-year-old violation and welcomed the accountability.
He took to Twitter writing:
In 2000, while on SNL, I made a terrible decision to do an impersonation of Chris Rock while in blackface.  There is no excuse for this. I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accountable.

Blackface is trash and I’d like to believe Jimmy Fallon (and Jimmy Kimmel) are older and wiser and understand that now.
I just hope y’all don’t find out the stupid mistakes I made 2 decades ago!
