I'll never mislead anyone intentionally - Funke Akindele apologizes over house party (video)

 

Funke Akindele has apologized after being called out by social media users for organizing a house party for her husband, JJC Skillz on his 43rd birthday party on April 4.

Recall that social media users lashed out at the actress and her husband after they were spotted in a houseparty which had Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus, Akpororo and many others in attendance.

The actress apologized following the controversy that trailed the houseparty she organized for her husband, JJC Skillz on his 43rd birthday at their Amen Estate home in Lagos.
She was accused of not observing the social distancing campaign spearheaded by the NCDC to curb the spread of Coronavirus


She claimed he never deliberately misled anyone because he revealed that Naira Marley, who is also part of their new production, suffered from a lockout order, which is why she ended her birthday. Funke Akindele, who expressed her regret at publishing the videos online, even though they decided to come to the family to celebrate her husband, added support for the Lagos state government’s proactive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, he promised to practice his preaching.

She wrote as she shared the video;

If I recall correctly, Lagos state government announced ahead of time that there will be a lockdown. So those people that did not live in Lagos could and should have returned to wherever they lived. The lockdown wasn't a surprise, so I don't understand.
