B. Simone Celebrated Her Curves and Confidence in Savage X Fenty Lingerie “Look at me…”

B. Simone posted a sexy photo posing in Savage X Fenty clothes .“Turned this Instagram shit into a B.Simone show,”
Savage X Fenty, the ambassador, described the seductive image on the crown’s emo on social media. The Wild N ’Out comedian often jokes about not having a hip like a regular Instagram model, and that’s one reason we love him so much. Her love for herself is admirable and inspiring for women who don’t have a watch glass shape and who are still sexy.

Back in September 2014, B. Simone was already making a statement that would later become central to her public image: you don't need an Instagram-model body to feel sexy.

The comedian and entertainer shared a candid message about her appearance, pointing out that her body did not fit the exaggerated hourglass ideal often celebrated on social media.

«“My boobs are average,
My real hair is wild,
I have chubby cheeks
and no hips…”»

Rather than treating those features as flaws, Simone used them to make a bigger point about being comfortable in the body you actually have.

B. Simone Wasn't Waiting for an Hourglass Figure

The image showed Simone posing confidently in lingerie, challenging the idea that women need a particular waist-to-hip ratio before they can feel attractive.

That was particularly interesting for a social-media era increasingly obsessed with the hourglass silhouette.

Her message was essentially: you can have average breasts, wild natural hair, chubby cheeks and little or no hips — and still know you're that girl.

The point wasn't that every woman should love every part of herself every day.

It was that beauty doesn't have one required body template.

The Savage X Fenty Connection

Simone was associated with Savage X Fenty, Rihanna's lingerie brand, and the lingerie look fitted perfectly into the message she was communicating: confidence without waiting for a body transformation.

Reports from the period identified the set as a Black Caviar Floral Print mesh balconette bra, paired with matching mesh high-leg bikini bottoms.

The emphasis, however, was less on the lingerie itself and more on the attitude behind the photograph.

Before body positivity became an entire social-media vocabulary, there were women simply saying:

“This is my body. And I'm still sexy.”

And honestly, that message has aged rather well.

Do you think women have become more comfortable embracing their natural body shapes, or has social media simply created new beauty standards for us to chase?
