A lady, Farida Ladipo-Ajayi has cried out on Twitter after a pharmacy in Gbagada, Lagos sold a bottle of hand sanitizer to her for N19,950.
Farida says she didn't notice the price but was surprised when she got an alert of N19,500. She said she made a complain and they insisted that was the price.
Many Nigerians have complained about the increase in prices of hand sanitizers and masks since the Federal Government announced the case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Farida wrote; ''Twitter fam, Medmark Pharmacy on Adekunle Osomo street soluyi Gbagada sold this to us at N19,950 for 500ml. Didn’t look at the bill, got back opened the product then got a debit alert. They insist that’s the price.''
