Sagamu: Real Leaders don’t sit & watch citizens die – Oby Ezekwesili reacts

   

Oby Ezekwesili has called on the presidency to act and stop violent killings ongoing in Nigeria.

She said on Twitter while reacting to the killing of three people, protesting the death of Remo Football Stars player, Tiyamiyu Kazeem, who was killed by officials of SARS at Sagamu, Ogun state on Saturday.


"A President who places his own safety and regime stability over and above his country’s and people’s has delegitimized himself.

The title, President& Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces now rings hollow when used on @MBuhari .

I join grieving citizens to send strength and comfort of God to our compatriots needlessly bruised, maimed and killed in #Sagamu today by @PoliceNG while their @NigeriaGov @MBuhari looks the other way.

It is extremely painful that we keep condoling our fellow citizens. Tragic." She said.
