'Coincidence or prophecy? - Novelist Dean Koontz predicted coronavirus outbreak in a book he wrote in 1981

Did novelist Dean Koontz predict coronavirus outbreak in a book he wrote in 1981?

Novelist Dean Koontz  predicted the coronavirus outbreak in a book, “The Eyes of Darkness” he wrote in 1981, that’s 39 years ago.
The fictional novel tells the story of a Chinese military lab located in Wuhan, China that creates a new virus to potentially use as a biological weapon during wartime and the made-up virus is called Wuhan-400.
In the “The Eyes of Darkness”, the virus is called the “perfect weapon” because it only affects humans and cannot survive outside the human body for more than 1 minute. It does not require an expensive decontamination process once it spreads through a population and those who contact it.
The coincidence between the Dean Koontz book’s virus and the actual coronavirus outbreak means he might have predicted the health emergency. The book also stated the name of a scientist, Li Chen who defected to the United states carrying the ‘Wuhan-400’.
In 2020, the coronavirus has surfaced and it originated in Wuhan, China and has become a health emergency around the world.
