The executive of Lagos NUJ on Monday, November 4, 2019, found yours truly of being honored as a Media Ambassador, for services being rendered to the media and the country.
Chairman of the Council, Dr Qasim Akinreti, said Lagos NUJ was proud of one of its own serving in government, saying the NUJ was being efficiently represented.
You know that my head can swell easily. It did so, as the award was being handed out. Who, me? Media Ambassador? To God be all the glory.
Thank you, Lagos Council of the NUJ, my own council. I’ll be back in service after my tour of duty in government, as God gives grace."
