Dele Momodu remembers mom after many years

Dele Momodu woke up this morning with heavy thoughts of his mother on his mind. Momodu who lost his mom 12 years ago, May 18, 2007 precisely took to social media to share photos of them together. Sharing a first photo, he wrote;

''I lost my Dad, when I was barely 13, in 1973, and was left with a poor unlettered Mum, who struggled so much to send me to school... A novel, WEEP NOT, CHILD by the Kenyan author, NGUGI WA THIONG'O opened my eyes to the importance of education. Since then, I have stayed focused...''



In another photo, he wrote;

''Life was tough and brutish but we managed our lives as squatters and enjoyed the little life could offer us. Though uneducated herself, my Mum emphasized education as the only key that can unlock a great pleasure... #DeleMomoduonthemove''
